I am so obsessed with this series too. I love it when Buffy gets beat up. I also liked the one episode where she was fighting Angle while she was sick and was beat up a lot. She fell over unconcious and hr friedns got Angle to go away. They took her to the hospital and she met Death. The creature that has been killing people for a long time. He kills the people that can see him, and the one doctor. You can only see him when you have a fever. Buffy saw him once, then her fever was gone. Willow came and gave her two drops of something that caused fever and she was sick, slow, and burning up. She was the only one, besides the kids that could see the demon so she was the only one that could fight him. Buffy has been afraid of hospitals ever since her aunt died. Her aunt was about her age and died because of that creature. She was almost strangled but she managed to barely break it's neck. In another book, she was almost strangled by a zombie. She went to go and check out the graveyard that the old man was talking about. When she got there, she jumped onto the wall and watched for a little bit. Then she jumped down and started fighting them. One of them snuck up behind her and the one in front of her backed her right into the arms of the one behind her. It grabbed onto her and the one in front of her grabbed her neck and squezed. She almost blacked out when he let go and she dropped.

I have to admitt that I don't always like it when the hero goes unhurt. I love it when Max gets beat up. I also loved the part of one of the books when she was being taken from the inn that they were staying at. She tried to knock something over and couldn't wake anyone up because they had all been dosed with something that made them heavy sleepers. They are usually light sleepers, but Max was kicking and trying to scream, but no one woke up. Then the way they explained her face when she saw her Eraser self lay in the exact position that she was laying, that would be great.

She hated the voice that was in her head and the fact that she has a microchip in her arm so much, that she went crazy and was positive that the voice was coming from the microchip. She was about to dig it out with a knife when Fang grabbed her arms and held them till she dropped the knife. She tried again with a shell when they were at a beach. She was the first one to get there thanks to her lightspeed flying, and found a sharp shell. She grabbed it and started digging at her arm. When the others got there, Fang stopped her and she was crying again that she wanted it out of her arm.

I am surprised that the teachers weren't fast enough to pull the trigger when they were in the highschool with all of the other teens. Four of them had tazzers and none of them pulled the trigger. She also got away.

I was surprised when I found out that Anne was the boss of Jeb. I never expected it to happen. She didn't falter when Jeb gave her away. Max was right, she couldn't trust anyone. I will never know if Sam was on her side or not though. He seemed like such a nice guy to Max and for Max. Then again, Anne was a nice person and look who she turned out to be.
The comicbooks have different information than the real books. I read the fourth comic book and the real book that this one was about, and they had different information. When the real Max was taken from the inn, the real book said that she tried to kick something over and that they all must have been dosed with something because they are usually light sleepers. The others never woke up. In the comic book, they show that someone put a cloth over her mouth and nose and knocked her out again. I like it both ways, but I want to find out which way was real. There was a Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode where these two kids that turn out to join into one massive demon, come back all the time and acuse teens of being witches and controll the parents minds. Buffy went to warn her mom not to go outside when one of the other parents hit Jiles in the head with something and Buffy's mom put that same cloth over Buffy's mouth and nose. She dropped within the first five seconds. Then, Willow, Amanda(the real witch), and Buffy were tied to a post in city hall on top of books that were going to be burned. Buffy woke up last when her mom was about to set some books on fire. Amanda turned herself into a rat and ran off while Buffy and Willow were still tied to the posts. Buffy was able to convince all of the parents and give them back their individual minds and the two kids hugged eachother and turned into one big demon. The demon came after Buffy while the fire was still spreading and Buffy was able to break her post in time to get it out. The demon ran striaght into the top, the top was shaved to a point, and stabbed itself.
